Did you pick up the 11/5 edition of the Dayton City Paper? If so, we're sure you enjoyed (as always) Drs. Oz and Roinzen's article "How Good Health Is The Ultimate Aphrodisiac". They focused on how great health is the key to looking great, feeling great and having a great sex life. One interesting thing they pointed out is that people who wore special breathing treatments at night for sleep apnea started to "look better". In an unbiased comparison, their faces were rated as younger, far more attractive and more alert about 65% of the time. The conclusion? People who sleep better, look better! Another few strategies listed were nixing major food felons, such as cutting out added sugars, excess sodium and any grain that isn't whole. According to a recent article by Dr. Oz, timing your eating habits can be just as important as what you eat. Specifically eating earlier helps with weight loss. Eating a healthy breakfast and having your biggest meal of the day before 3PM was shown to improve weight loss by 29%. The article also suggest that one shouldn't rush through meals, should consider taking diet breaks and as always try to stick to healthy indulgences.
