Posted on 12/10/2013 by Stevie Duncan in Testosterone Hormone Replacement Dr. Oz Responses Age Management

Dr. Moore doesn't seem to like how Drs. Oz and Roizen wrote their article "Testosterone replacement: The news you can use." Not that they didn't mention wonderful things, such as "...for men with truly low T levels, extra testosterone can be life-changing, boosting energy, firing up a flagging libido and slowing down muscle and bone loss" (found in the 11/26/13 Health, Wellness and Fitness section of the Dayton City Paper) but rather he seems to be fired up that they forgot to mention some KEY elements of truly treating low testosterone….read on. How Good Health Is The ULTIMATE Aphrodisiac

Posted on 11/7/2013 by Stevie Duncan in Bioidentical Hormones Weight Loss Dr. Oz Responses Age Management

Did you pick up the 11/5 edition of the Dayton City Paper? If so, we're sure you enjoyed (as always) Drs. Oz and Roinzen's article "How Good Health Is The Ultimate Aphrodisiac". They focused on how great health is the key to looking great, feeling great and having a great sex life. One interesting thing they pointed out is that people who wore special breathing treatments at night for sleep apnea started to "look better". In an unbiased comparison, their faces were rated as younger, far more attractive and more alert about 65% of the time. The conclusion? People who sleep better, look better! Another few strategies listed were nixing major food felons, such as cutting out added sugars, excess sodium and any grain that isn't whole. When your blood sugar is elevated, the glucose gloms onto proteins throughout your body, including collagen and elastin, which are essential for keeping skin firm. Adding more fresh fruits and veggies will give your skin a rosier glow, as well as upping your fiber intake which will ultimately help with weight loss and digestion, control blood sugar, improve HDL cholesterol (the good kind) and lower that lousy LDL cholesterol. Is stress affecting your libido? Try walking at least 10,000 steps a day, meditate for 10 minutes each evening and spend more time with your friends and loved ones- a smile can make your appearance look 3 years younger. If you think all this is interesting, we encourage your to pick up this edition or check it out online- and as always, Dr. Moore would like to throw his two cents in!
